Reilly discusses his reasons for coming to Boalt Hall Law School, the coming out process as a law student, and his efforts to have "sexual orientation" added to the non-discrimination statement that law recruiters are required to sign before they are allowed to recruit on campus. In footnotes in the printed transcript he gives information about gay and lesbian attorneys and judges of prominance in the San Francisco Bay Area.
